PARTS INTERPRETER

 

Three Rivers Machinery is a family owned and operated Case IH, Case CE and New Holland Ag Machinery Dealership Group, located in Dubbo, Gilgandra, Narromine and Warren NSW. 

We strive to partner with our customers to ensure that effective and efficient solutions are provided to assist with the success of their businesses.

Due to the growth in our business, Three Rivers is now looking for full-time Parts Interpreters to join our team across all four branches.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide excellent service and technical parts support to our customers and our service team.  

About the Job

  • Interpret for our customers at the counter and over the phone; and interpret for our service department.

  • Identify and source required parts and provide advice regarding specifications, including make, model and variations.

  • Process payments, prepare quotes and discounts for parts.

  • Collect, pack and dispatch parts and receipt in-shipments, delivery to other inventory locations.

  • Source and order parts from numerous suppliers and follow up on back orders and stock shortages. 

  • Stocktaking and restock of showroom as necessary. 

  • Communicate updates with customers. 

About You

You are meticulous and have an exceptional eye for detail and provide customer driven service. Whilst you can easily navigate inventory control systems (e.g., Gateway/Voyager), you can just as easily talk to a wide array of people and explain verbally complex answers in understandable terms for the average customer. You love the buzz of a busy work environment and can keep your cool under pressure. You are punctual, reliable and a happy soul that enjoys working as part of a larger team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Preferably a minimum 1-2 years experience as a Parts Interpreter or similar.

  • Certificate III in Automotive Sales is highly advantageous.

  • Gateway or Voyager is highly advantageous.

  • Working and mechanical knowledge of the agricultural machinery industry is highly advantageous.

  • Forklift license is preferable.

Extensive and ongoing skills training will be provided and a competitive remuneration package is on offer to the right applicant, commensurate with attitude and experience.
